AI Agent Banking
Agentic banking is coming to Brook. Your agents will be able to read balances, move money, and pay vendors, inside permissions and spending limits you set, with every action logged. No shared logins, and no unlimited access to your account.
In development. Limits and permission controls are being designed into the first release.
Business banking was built for people logging into a dashboard. Agentic banking is different. Accounts can now be accessed by software that reads balances, reconciles transactions, and initiates payments on its own.
Most teams solve that today by sharing login credentials, which means an agent can do everything a human can, with no limits. Brook is building an AI agent-ready business bank account where each agent gets its own credentials and its own limits.
Permissions
Every agent gets its own access instead of your login. Revoke it in one click without touching your own sign-in.
Set per-transaction, daily, and monthly caps for each agent, so automated payments can never run past your ceiling.
Decide whether an agent can only view balances, move money between your own accounts, or pay third parties.
Above the amount you set, nothing moves until a person approves the request. Routine payments still run automatically.

How it works
Invite your AI Agent to create its own account with its own, separate login credentials.
Choose the accounts it can see, the actions it can take, its spending limits, its approved recipients, and the amount that needs a human.
Routine actions run on their own. Anything above your threshold waits for your approval in the platform.
Questions
That is exactly what Brook's AI agent banking is being built for. Instead of handing over your online banking password, you create a scoped agent credential with only the permissions you choose: view balances, pay vendors on an approved list, and stay under a limit you set. Access can be paused or revoked at any time.
Agentic banking is banking designed for software agents, not only for people clicking through an app. Your AI assistant or finance automation connects to your account through a permissioned interface so it can read balances, reconcile transactions, and initiate payments on your behalf, inside rules you define.
You set limits per agent: which accounts it can see, which transaction types it can use, per-transaction and monthly spending caps, an approved recipient list, and an approval threshold above which a person has to sign off. Anything outside those rules is blocked, and every request is logged.
No. You never hand over your username, password, or one-time codes. Each agent gets its own credential, its own permissions, and its own audit trail, and you can revoke it in one click without changing anything about your own sign-in.
Access is being designed to be platform-agnostic. Whether you use an off-the-shelf assistant or a custom agent built on your team's own models, it connects the same way: through scoped credentials and a permission model you control.
It is safer than the status quo, where teams share logins or hand over a key with bank-wide reach. With scoped agent access, each agent gets the least permission it needs, hard limits, human approval for anything unusual, and a complete record of what it did. Brook's Agentic Banking terms and conditions with more detail will be made available soon.
